After the electronic throttle body is replaced or the ECU is powered off, it is necessary to initialize the electronic throttle.
The initialization process is as follows:
1. Manual matching:
Turn off the ignition key, do not step on the accelerator pedal, turn on the ignition switch, then step on the accelerator pedal to the bottom, and keep it for a certain time. Finally, release the accelerator pedal and start the engine.
2. Power-off matching
After replacing the throttle valve, you can disconnect the negative pole of the battery, wait for one minute, and then install it. During this process, the original memory of the on-board computer will be cleared, and the factory settings will be restored. Suitable for low-end cars, high-end cars cannot use this method.
3. Diagnostic instrument to match.
Start the engine, the water temperature reaches 90 degrees, turn off the engine, connect the diagnostic instrument, enter the engine management system, select the engine type, enter the electronic throttle matching program, wait for success, and exit the system.
4. Go out for a road test.
If the throttle is not initialized after replacing the throttle, otherwise the power and fuel consumption will be affected, and there may be abnormal noise. As auto repair engineers, or auto parts dealers, we are obliged to inform customers and provide good service.
