Throttle Position Sensor
The throttle position sensor (tps sensor) is an important automotive electronic component used to detect the position and angle of the engine throttle. It sends this information to the vehicle’s computer system to help control the engine’s fuel supply, ignition timing and air flow, ensuring that the engine can run properly and minimizing exhaust emissions.
Oxygen Sensor
Automotive oxygen sensor (o2 sensor) is the key feedback sensor in the EFI engine control system, is to control the exhaust emissions, reduce automotive pollution to the environment, improve the quality of fuel combustion of automotive engines key parts, oxygen sensors are installed in the engine exhaust pipe.
Coolant Temperature Sensor
Coolant temperature sensor, also known as water temperature sensor; its main role is to detect the coolant temperature of the engine cooling cycle, coolant temperature is used in the following calculations of fuel injection and idle speed theoretical speed; coolant temperature sensor detects and provides the engine temperature; according to the signal on the injection time, ignition moment and idle speed, etc. to adjust accordingly, these operating conditions are called cold start and warm up operation.
Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor
Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP sensor) is a device used to detect the absolute pressure in the intake manifold behind the throttle. It is connected to the intake manifold through a vacuum tube and senses the change in vacuum in the intake manifold with varying engine speed loads. The change in the sensor’s internal resistance is then converted into a voltage signal for the ECU to correct the fuel injection and ignition timing angle. The intake manifold absolute pressure sensor detects the change in absolute pressure in the manifold based on engine speed and load, and then converts it into a signal voltage that is sent to the engine control unit.
Mass Air Flow Sensor
MAF refers to the air flow sensor, also known as the air flow meter. Air flow sensor is one of the important sensors of the car EFI engine, because the amount of air inhaled when the engine is working determines the amount of fuel injected into the engine, which is an important basis for the amount of fuel injected. If the air flow sensor fails, the trip computer does not get an accurate signal, it can not properly control the fuel injection, the mixture in the engine will be too thick or too thin, easy to affect the normal work of the engine.
